iPod – Condition Grade List

Good:

  • The device (including system software) is all fully functional.
  • Everything works as it should without fault or issue
  • No major damage to the device such as water damage, large chips, cracks to the screen or casing
  • Battery holds charge and is in a healthy state, so does not die prematurely
  • All buttons and ports work as they should without fault or issue
  • Connects and syncs successfully with a Mac or PC
  • Light wear or tear is acceptable on the device
  • iCloud account must be removed before sending in (if applicable)

Poor:

  • The device (including system software) is all fully functional.
  • Everything works as it should without fault or issue
  • No major damage to the device such as water damage, large chips, cracks to the screen or casing
  • Battery holds charge and is in a healthy state, so does not die prematurely
  • All buttons and ports work as they should without fault or issue
  • Connects and syncs successfully with a Mac or PC
  • Heavy wear or tear, such as scuffs, dents and deep scratches is acceptable on the device
  • iCloud account must be removed before sending in (if applicable)

Faulty:

  • Not fully functional. Parts not working or system software has issue or fault
  • Device freezes or crashes regularly
  • Pressure marks, liquid damage, dead or stuck pixels on screen or touchscreen doesn’t work
  • Charging port, audio jack or click wheel doesn’t work (if applicable)
  • Device has major physical damage
  • Battery fails to hold charge or dies prematurely
  • Important: we cannot buy your device if it is missing components or is bent, crushed or snapped.
  • iCloud account must be removed before sending in (if applicable)

Engraved iPods: If your device is engraved, there will be a 10% deduction on the amount paid out.
