American car makers Chevrolet have announced that they will be integrating Apple’s Siri voice assistant in their Chevrolet Sonic and Spark models. These will be introduced in the 2013 models of the vehicles which are pretty much just down the line!
This will work via Bluetooth connection (yes you need to have an iPhone with Siri capability for this to work). Once you have the phone paired up to your car, simply holding down a button on your steering wheel would activate Siri. Just a word of warning though you can do everything you would normally do except web browsing. There will be a safety feature which would cause Siri to reply “To ensure your safety, your vehicle will not permit me to help you with that right now.” When you ask Siri something that would enable you to look at your screen.
